  • It is to be noted that students are still free to appear in only 5 main subjects. This means that the choice of additional subjects is optional. Students can appear in 2 language papers and 3 optional subjects and can choose not to have additional subjects.

  • The number of questions of 2 marks has been increased. In a theory paper of 70 marks, 18 questions of two marks will be asked. You have to answer only 10 of them. The question paper of 100 marks will have 25 short answer questions, students will have to answer 15 only.
  • Questions of more than 5 marks will be asked in the language papers like Hindi, English etc.
  • Sent-up examinations will be conducted which have to be cleared before appearing in the annual class 12 Bihar board exam.

From this year onwards, students can opt for the sixth paper belonging to the particular stream or any one of the 12 languages ​​as an additional subject. For example, Arts students can choose History, Political Science, and Geography as core subjects and Psychology or Philosophy or Sociology, etc.
