Online Admission Form for Class 11 in Bihar Board: Important information for students for online enrollment in Intermediate class for the session 2026-2028 in all recognized government/non-government educational institutions providing higher secondary level education in the state of Bihar. Students are requested to read this notification in full before applying online.

Also download the Common Prospectus from the OFSS website (https://ofssbihar.net) and read it completely and then apply online. Students themselves will be responsible for any kind of error in applying.

How to apply online (CAF) through Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS), i.e. detailed process of online application-

A. Process of filling online application from your home or any other place through computer having internet facility-

The various steps of filling out the online application under the OFSS system from your home through a computer having internet are as follows: Keep the following information with you before filling out the application:-

  • If the student has passed the 10th class examination from the Bihar School Examination Board, then keep their roll code, roll number, and date of birth ready.
  • If the student has passed the 10th class examination from any other board equivalent to the Bihar School Examination Board, keep their total marks and obtained marks ready.

Apply Process

  • Applicants should visit ofssbihar.net through any browser.
  • Click on “Common Application Form”.
  • Read the given instructions carefully.
  • Accept the terms and conditions by clicking on the Check Box and then Accept.
  • After this, the Common Application Form will open on your computer.

If the applicant has passed the 10th examination from Bihar School Examination Board, then he/she will have to keep ready the unique ID issued by the board, the year of passing the 10th examination, roll code, roll number and date of birth. If the data is not displayed online through the unique ID, then in such a situation the student will have to enter the year of passing the examination, roll code, roll number and date of birth. After making such online entry, the applicant’s marks and all other details etc. will be automatically displayed on the computer screen in his/her Common Application Form.

  • If the student has passed 10th or equivalent examination from any other board, then it is necessary to fill the information asked in the common application form.
  • After filling all the information, the applicant has to upload his photo in the Common Application Form. Uploading the photo is necessary.
  • The applicant has to choose the option of inter-level educational institution for admission. The applicant can choose a minimum of 10 options and a maximum of 20 options. 1 option for 1 subject will be considered in 1 school.

To fill the admission options, students should follow the following procedure:

  • Select the district from the drop down list.
  • After selecting the district, select the inter-level educational institution.
  • After selecting the inter-level educational institution, select the faculty, such as Arts, Science, and Commerce, etc.
  • Click on the Submit button.
  • After clicking on the Submit button, your option will be registered.
  • In this way, you can select a minimum of 10 options and a maximum of 20 options in the common application form.

Students should fill the higher priority options first, for example if your first priority for admission in Intermediate is Government Boys Higher Secondary School Shastrinagar, Patna in Science stream, and second priority or option is Patna Collegiate School, Patna in Science stream, then you should fill the first priority option in Government Boys Higher Secondary School Shastrinagar, Patna and after that fill the option of Patna Collegiate School, Patna. Similarly, for admission in Intermediate if your first priority is S.G.D. Patliputra Higher Secondary School, Patna and second priority is S.R.P. +2 School Gardanibagh Patna, then you should fill the first priority option in ‘S.G.D. Patliputra Higher Secondary School, Patna and after that fill the second priority option in S.R.P. +2 School Gardanibagh Patna.

  • Once you have filled the Common Application Form, please read it carefully once again so that if you have made any mistake, you will know about it. If you find the complete details given in the application correct, then click on the Submit button.
  • After this, a preview of the filled application will appear on the computer screen.
  • After this, please check the filled application again. If you find all the information in the application form correct, then click on the Confirm button. If you do not find the filled information correct, then click on the Modify button.
  • On clicking the Modify button, the Common Application Form will appear again. By looking at it, you can correct the information filled in it which you want to correct. After this, click on the Confirm button.
  • After clicking the Confirm button, this system or method will send you a One Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number.
  • Enter the One Time Password (OTP) in the system and after this your mobile number will be confirmed.
  • Once the mobile number is confirmed, you will be instructed to pay Rs. 350/-. This payment of Rs. 350/- will be the application fee. You can make this payment through online mode (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking). Apart from this, if you wish, you can also make this payment through e-challan. If you want to make payment through e-challan, then it will be necessary for you to take a printed copy of the challan and submit it to your nearest HDFC Bank Ltd. and Indian Bank branch.
  • After successful payment is confirmed, this system will issue an Acknowledgement Copy related to the online application filled by you. You are advised to keep this Acknowledgement Copy as it may be useful to you in future.
  • After successful submission of the application form, you will receive a user ID and password on your registered mobile and email.
  • Please note: If the application fee of Rs. 350/- is not deposited, your application form will be considered rejected. Hence, it is necessary that the application fee is definitely deposited so that your application can be considered accepted.

Process of filling online application through Internet Cyber ​​OFSS

Students can go to any cyber cafe and fill online application themselves under the OFSS system. If applicants want to get online form filled by a cyber cafe operator, then download Form 7 or Form 8 from a website, fill it and give it to the operator so that they can fill in all the information in the online application form and complete the entire process. If applicants want to fill online application themselves, then they have to apply online as per the order given below.

To apply through cyber cafe, the applicant has to go through various steps given below.

  • If the student has passed the 10th or its equivalent examination from any board other than Bihar Board, then he should prepare the mark sheet in advance and keep it with him.   • Fill the options with higher priority first. Suppose your first priority for admission in Intermediate is in A.N. College in Science Faculty, and the second priority or option is in College of Commerce in Science Faculty; then you fill the first priority option in A.N. College and after that fill the option of College of Commerce. After that fill the third, fourth, fifth etc. options according to your priority.
  • Once you have filled the general application form, please read it carefully once again so that if you have made any mistake, you will know about it. If you find the complete details given in the application correct, then click on the Submit button.
  • After this, a preview of the filled application will be shown on the computer screen.
  • After this, please check the filled application again. If you find all the information in the application form correct, then click on the Submit button.
  • If you do not find the filled information correct, then click on the Modify button.
  • On clicking the Modify button, the general application form will be visible to you again. By looking at it, you can correct the information filled in it which you want to correct. After this, click on the Confirm button.
  • After clicking the Confirm button, this system or method will send you an OTP on your registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP in the system and after this your mobile number will be confirmed.
  • Once the mobile number is confirmed, you will get an instruction to pay Rs 350/- (Three Hundred and Fifty Rupees). This Rs 350/- will be the application fee. You can also make this payment through online medium (Debit Card, Credit Card and Net Banking). Apart from this, if you wish, you can also make this payment through e-challan. If you want to make payment through e-challan, then it will be necessary to take a printed copy of the challan and deposit it in your nearest designated Indian Bank (Allahabad Bank). To deposit the application fee through Indian Bank through e-challan, Rs 24/- will have to be paid extra in Indian Bank, which will be the service charge of the bank. After 48 hours to 72 hours of depositing the application fee in the bank, the information of payment will be updated on the board’s portal.
  • After successful payment is ensured, this system will issue an acknowledgement copy related to the application filled by you. You are advised to keep this printed receipt copy so that it can be useful for you in future.
  • After previewing and submitting the application form, after entering the OTP received on the given mobile, the student will receive the User ID and Password on the mobile and email registered by them.
  • Please note, if the application fee of Rs.350/- (Three Hundred and Fifty Rupees) is not deposited, your application form will be considered rejected. Hence, it is necessary that the application fee is definitely deposited so that your application can be accepted.

Bihar Inter Admission Date 2026

It is hereby informed to the students desirous of enrolling in Intermediate class in all the recognized Government/Non-Government Inter-level educational institutions providing higher secondary level education in the state of Bihar that online enrollment of students who have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination conducted by Bihar School Examination Board and other Central/State Boards is to be done in Intermediate class through Online Facilitation System for Students software.

The date for filling online application for enrollment in these Higher Secondary Schools has been fixed from 24 April 2026 to 20 May 2026. Therefore, the applicants desirous of taking admission in 11th class of Intermediate will ensure to apply online between 24 April 2026 to 20 May 2026.

11th BSEB Admission Date 2026

Students desirous of taking admission in Intermediate are informed that they should read the Common Application Form (CAF) and Common Prospectus (CP) carefully, so that they do not face any difficulty in applying. Common Application Form and Common Prospectus will be available on the committee’s website https://ofssbihar.net from 11:00 am on 24 April 2026. They are also informed that for admission in all recognized government / non-government inter level educational institutions providing education at the respective higher secondary level, online application has to be given through OFSS only, that is, offline application for admission will not be accepted under any circumstances. No Admission in Colleges

All the students desirous of taking admission in Intermediate are informed that the arrangement of Intermediate studies in the State Degree Colleges (Associated/Affiliated/Minority) has been abolished from 01.04.2026 by the Resolution No. 11/V0-11-09/2024-587, Patna, dated 21.02.2024 of the Education Department, Bihar, Patna. Therefore, the State Degree Colleges (Associated/Affiliated/Minority) option will also not be available for the Intermediate session 2026-28.
